REQUIEM MASS OF THE LATE ROSELINE DOREEN ADHIAMBO ODEDE
On the 16th, January,2025, members of the Legal fraternity congregated at the All Saints Cathedral for the requiem mass of the late Roseline Doreen Adhiambo Odede, the immediate former Chair of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR).
The Late Roseline who passed away on 3rd January 2025 after an illness was appointed as the fourth Chairperson of the KNCHR in 2022 following an exemplary career spanning over three decades.
On behalf of the State Law Office, the Solicitor General Hon. Shadrack J. Mose delivered his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late Roseline.
Hon. Mose noted that the late Roseline brought to the Commission, a vision where justice, equity, human rights and human dignity are the birth right for all. She was committed to defending human rights, uplifting marginalized communities and her leadership was intertwined with wisdom and passion. He applauded Roseline’s immeasurable contribution to the advancement of human rights.
He said the late Roseline was a member of the Witness Protection Advisory Board where she served as a Vice Chairperson as well as the Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee. She was a distinguished professional who championed good governance and the rule of law at all times.

Raphael Tuju, Hon. Rosa Buyu and Woman Representative for Siaya County Dr. Christine Ombaka among others.
