Pupillage and Post Pupillage Opportunities

The Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice is one of the Institutions set out in the Council of Legal Education (Admission) Regulations, 2007 as an Institution in which students of the Kenya School of Law may undertake their Pupillage Programme. The Office seeks to engage sixty (60) highly motivated Kenyans to undertake Pupillage Programme for a period of six (6) months commencing January 2021.

Section 14 of the Advocates Act allows the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice (OAG & DOJ) to take on pupils for  purposes of the Advocate training Programme as offered by the Kenya School of Law.
In order to enrich the training experience and ensure that those who undergo pupillage at the OAG & DOJ acquire diverse experience and exposure to a variety of skills and legal resources thereby enhancing their marketability, this Office seeks to engage fifty (50) graduates on a short term contract period of six (6) months renewable once.
